XANACID® stick pack is a Medical Device formulated to counteract the symptoms of the gastricmucosal irritation: pain, burning, sense of acidity. Xanacid® acts by forming a barrier protectingthe mucosa from the attack of gastric juices. Thanks to the Xanacid® plant complex and Hyaluronicacid, the Medical Device has a soothing and protective action on the mucosa and alsohelps to counteract gastro-esophageal reflux.

• Control of gastric acidity
• Burning, hyperacidity, reflux
• Reflux cough and hoarseness

How to use it

Take one stick pack, as is, after the main meals. In case of gastro-esophageal reflux, take one stick pack after meals and at bedtime. You can repeat the intake several times a day, even at short intervals if necessary.

Warnings and side effects

Before use, read the leaflet carefully and keep it with the product. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources. The expiry date refers to the product correctly stored in its unopened packaging.
Active ingredients and action

Xanacid® (Aloe gel powder, Marsh-Mallow, Mallow):
It forms a film adhering to the mucous membranes of the esophagus and stomach, able to protect them with an action similar to the natural gastric mucus and saliva. It soothes the pain of the areas attacked by acids, thus allowing the normal functionality of the stomach to be restored.

Emblica:
The fruits of this plant contain high concentrations of ascorbic acid, phenols, and tannins, such as gallic acid and flavonoids. Experimental studies report antisecretory, antiulcer, and cytoprotective properties.

Chamomile:
There are several active ingredients contained in the chamomile plant (polysaccharide, essential oils) useful for counteracting the typical sense of heaviness, acidity, and pain due to poor digestion. Furthermore, the presence of flavonoids promotes the gastroprotective and anti-inflammatory effect, capable of reducing stomach spasms.

Sodium hyaluronate:
Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan which, like a "film," rests on the mucous membrane of the stomach and esophagus, protecting it mechanically. Its great solubility in an aqueous environment is important to ensure the hydration of the tissues while protecting them from tension and irritation.
