Overview product

Xanacid® chewable tablets is a Medical Device formulated to counteract
the symptoms of irritation of the gastric mucosa: pain, burning and sense of
acidity. Xanacid® acts by forming a barrier that protects the mucosa from the
attack of the gastric juices. Thanks to its plant complex, Xanacid® Medical
Device has a protective and soothing action on the mucosa, while its mineral
component counteracts the acid pH. The plant complex of Xanacid® Medical
device also helps to counteract gastro-oesophageal reflux.

When to use it

• Control of gastric acidity
• Burning, hyperacidity, reflux
• Reflux cough and hoarseness

How to use it

Dissolve one tablet in the mouth as needed. In case of gastrooesophageal
reflux take one tablet after meals and one at bedtime. It is
possible to repeat the intake several times a day even at short intervals if
necessary.

Warnings and side effects

Before use, read the leaflet carefully and keep it with the
product. Keep out of reach of children. store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources. The expiry
date refers to the product correctly stored in its unopened packaging.

Calcium carbonate 1200 mg (equal to Ca 480 mg 60% NRV*) They play a synergistic action buffering the excess of acidity giving immediate relief. These antacids are, from a chemical point of view, of weak bases that bind to strong acids forming neutral salts. The duration of their action (approximately 3-4 hours) and the reduced absorption, limits the possible side effects on blood acidity.
Magnesium hydroxide 300 mg (equal to Mg 125 mg 33% NRV*)
Aloe Vera powder gel 150 mg It forms a film adhering to the mucosa of the oesophagus and of the stomach able to protect them, with an action similar to the natural gastric mucus and to the saliva, and to alleviate the pain of the areas attacked by acids, allowing the restoration of the normal functionality of the stomach.
